IBC Carbon (Academy of Finland)

The IBC-CARBON project aims to integrate biodiversity conservation and carbon sequestration within forest ecosystems in Finland, addressing the challenges posed by climate change and the transition to a bio-based economy.
​ The project is led by a multidisciplinary team from the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE), University of Helsinki (UHel), and University of Eastern Finland (UEF).
